What stands out
The two assistants had one company in common for Toronto, Dr HVAC and Plumbing, two for Mississauga and none for Brampton.
Large multi-location companies are part of the picture. ChatGPT named Enercare for Brampton and Mississauga, and three of the sampled listings belong to Reliance Heating, Air Conditioning & Plumbing, all three named by ChatGPT.
The named listings had a median of 1,381 Google reviews against 128 for the rest, the widest gap of any category.
Only 7 of the 30 names the assistants gave were top-ranked listings in the sample.
