Underneath Rec’d is the practice it grew out of: phones that get answered at 7pm, follow-up that goes out whether or not anyone remembers to send it, and listings and websites for trades and clinics around Ontario.
It started in the trades, not in a lab.
Nathan Buckmire spent over a decade in the GTA trades, from rookie painter to general contractor, quoting jobs all day and missing calls all day. He knew exactly where the money was going, so that is what Everline built first.
Rec’d came out of that work. Getting named by ChatGPT or Google is the easy half. The call still has to get answered, the quote still has to go out, and somebody still has to follow up on the Tuesday after. Everline was building that second half before Rec’d existed, and it still does both.
What the October 2026 live test found.
In October 2026 Everline asked ChatGPT and Google AI Mode, from a logged-out browser, for the best businesses in ten local categories across Toronto and the GTA, then checked which of Toronto’s top-ranked businesses on Google came up.

Take dentists: of Toronto’s ten top-ranked clinics on Google, ChatGPT named none and Google AI Mode named one. Across all ten categories, 205 of the 290 businesses the two assistants recommended were not among the top-ranked listings Everline had pulled from Google.
Five rules the work runs on.
- Proof you can see.
Every answer Everline tests is screenshotted with the date on it. When we say an assistant named your business, you see the answer it gave.
- A fee that does not move.
The fee is written down before work starts and does not change after. If a fix needs software, you pay what the software costs, with no markup.
- A refund in writing.
The 90-day sprint is measured against five prompts agreed at kickoff. If you are not named for any of them, we keep working free, and at month 6 you can take a full refund. Conditions apply. Read the terms.

If the rating is too low, the listings are a mess, or the category is not one the assistants name anybody in, we say so instead of taking the money.

Stay Rec’d is billed month to month. The day it stops being worth it, you stop paying for it.

Everline works best with businesses of roughly 10 to 50 people: busy enough that gaps cost real money, structured enough that a change sticks. A one-person shop can still run the Rec’d Check to see where it stands, and we will say plainly whether a sprint is worth the money.
